Under one roof it brings together general surgery, urology, orthopedics, gynaecology, ENT, eye care and cardiology, alongside a 24/7 emergency, ICU, CCU, NICU newborn nursery, dialysis, radiology, a 24-hour laboratory and pharmacy. Care is delivered by experienced, FCPS-qualified consultants, and every charge is published openly on our prices page.
The Story Behind the Name

The hospital carries the name of Brigadier (Retired) Shafiq Ahmad Khan Niazi. His younger brother, Rafiq Ahmad Khan Niazi, founded this trust and built the hospital in his memory.
It has been treating patients since 2006. The surgical workload has grown a long way from those first years, and the intention it started with has not changed, which is to keep serious surgery affordable for families who could not otherwise pay for it.
The work has stayed in the family. The founder's son, Dr. Shehryar Ahmad Khan Niazi, is Patron in Chief and Head of Surgery, and he operates here himself.
The Surgical Record
Two figures give the clearest picture of the work done here.
700+
Surgeries a month on average since 2020.
400
Surgeries a month on average from 2006 to 2020.
Most of that work is general surgery. Gynaecology comes next, followed by urology and orthopedics.
How the Trust Is Funded
The trust has never run a donation appeal, and its founder has never asked anyone for money. It is a registered trust that pays its own way from what the hospital earns. When a year falls short, the gap is met by donations that come unasked.
